Matty Butcher

Inspector

Following graduation from University Matty spent the majority of his career in protective security, including 12 years as a Regional Counter Terrorism Security Advisor (CTSA), working within Cleveland Police Special Branch and latterly Counter Terrorism Policing North East.

Following that, in 2018 he moved into an operational based role with Barclays as a Regional Security Manager, responsible for the security of retail and corporate sites in the Northern half of the UK.

Most recently he was employed as the security specialist for the National Trust, working with major visitor attractions in the heritage sector to provide an immersive visitor experience without compromising the security of the collections.
