Mark Holland

Inspector

Mark Holland joined the SGSA as an Inspector in 2018.

During his time with the SGSA, Mark has been integrally involved in the SGSA’s work in Northern Ireland, working closely with Sport Northern Ireland, sports grounds and local authorities.

Mark was previously a Police Officer with Nottinghamshire Police for 30 years, retiring as Chief Superintendent for Operations.  During his time in the police service, he was the lead for Public Order and for sporting events. He was a gold, silver and bronze public order commander, as well as a bronze firearms commander.  Mark has also worked as a trainer at New College Nottingham on SIA courses.
