ACT (Action Counter Terrorism) Awareness eLearning

The ACT Awareness eLearning is a free online counter terrorism training course for all UK based companies, organisations and individuals.

ACT Awareness eLearning will provide nationally recognised corporate counter terrorism guidance to help people better understand, and mitigate against, current terrorist methodology.

The following eLearning Modules are available:

  1. Introduction to Terrorism
  2. Identifying Security Vulnerabilities
  3. How to Identify and Respond to Suspicious Behaviour
  4. How to Identify and Deal with a Suspicious Item
  5. What to do in the Event of a Bomb Threat
  6. How to Respond to a Firearms or Weapons attack
  7. Summary and Supporting Materials

Spectator safety qualifications

The ACT modules form part of the new spectator safety qualifications.

For the Award and Certificate at Level 2 and Level 3 Certificate it will be the ACT Awareness eLearning resource.  This is freely available via the ACT Awareness eLearning website.

For the Level 3 Extended Certificate and Level 4 Diploma it will be the ACT strategic course. This is the one-day course delivered regionally through the regional CTUs by licensed Counter Terrorism Security Advisors.  The training is delivered free of charge however the candidate/learner must cover their own travel and subsistence costs.
