Remembering the Bradford Fire Disaster

It has been 40 years since the tragic events at Bradford City. Our thoughts are with all of those affected by the devastating events.

On May 11, 1985, a fire broke out in the main stand, causing a devastating blaze that resulted in the deaths of 56 spectators and injuries to over 200 others.

The disaster prompted significant changes in safety regulations at sports venues across the UK, resulting in safer venues for fans.

Today, we remember the lives lost and honour the resilience of those affected by this tragic event, reflecting on the importance of safety in safeguarding sporting communities.
