This included a consideration that this Standard could be statutory and that the Care Quality Commission (CQC) should incorporate event healthcare into its regulatory portfolio. A survey is currently available which aims to better understand some of the demographics of medical staff working at sporting and cultural events and how CQC regulation might affect them and the events they cover. There are two versions of this survey: For organisations: complete organisation survey; and For practitioners: complete practitioner survey. We appreciate that some individuals may complete both. Each survey should take approximately 5 minutes. The deadline for responses is 10 April 2025. If you represent a NGB or equivalent and feel you have sufficient data for the organisational survey please respond on behalf of your entire sport. If not, please share with Clubs/Leagues/Divisions etc and just pick up your organisation’s specific elements e.g. National Squads who train/play in England. For the practitioner survey as wide an uptake as possible is needed. It doesn’t matter if people are asked several times as long as they only complete the individual survey once.
