Home / Working towards Green Guide 7 Working towards Green Guide 7 The SGSA is developing the next (seventh) edition of the Guide to Safety at Sports Grounds (Green Guide), due to be published in Spring 2029. Over the coming months and years, we will be reviewing existing guidance, identifying research requirements and considering topics and themes to be enhanced and/or explored. If you would like to offer any thoughts and considerations to the next edition of the Green Guide, please email us directly at: greenguide@sgsa.org.uk. Key issues likely to be addressed include: Safety, security and service embedded Sports grounds as multi-use venues Different demographics Zone Ex Densities and parameters Technology Impact of technology Sustainability As we progress through the work, we will be engaging experts and stakeholders to gather a wide cross section of expertise and views. These will all feed into the drafting of the new edition. All considerations and views submitted will be recorded, reviewed and taken into account in preparing the next edition. We will carefully consider all comments and, where appropriate, incorporate or reflect them. We will provide regular updates on progress and when formal consultation will be open.
