Ann Ramage

Inspector

Ann Ramage joined the SGSA in August 2019 after over 30 years’ experience in managing local authority regulatory services. Ann is an Inspector for clubs in London and the South region.

Before joining the SGSA, Ann was the Director for Public Protection at the London Boroughs of Kensington & Chelsea and Hammersmith & Fulham leading both councils’ regulatory services, including licensing and environmental health. She has led teams through significant change and helped shape and implement long term public health and safety improvements.

Ann has led on local authority emergency planning and held a silver role for several years. She was part of the senior team that led on health and safety following the Grenfell Tower fire.

She has extensive experience in safety management at sporting and other events and has been the Chair of the Safety Advisory Groups for Chelsea FC, Fulham FC, and Queens Park Rangers FC for the past seven years. She has promoted collaboration and partnership across London to secure spectator safety improvements.

She is a Trading Standards Officer and a member of TSI, the professional body.
