SGSA Conference 2022
Tickets are now available for the SGSA Conference 2022
The SGSA is delighted to announce its sixth conference is coming to the Etihad Stadium, in the thriving city of Manchester, on Tuesday 24 May 2022.
Being a safety professional requires constant vigilance and an ability to respond to changing and emerging threats to keeping people safe. The SGSA Conference 2022 will address the key issues facing those involved in the sports and events sector, particularly around safety, security and service.
This event is for anyone involved in safety at large events, in particular, safety at sports grounds. A focus of the conference will be the introduction of licensed standing in seated areas – with the event taking place at one of the early adopter grounds, you’ll be able to hear first hand the experiences from the first few months of its implementation.
The conference programme will include:
- What’s happening in the sports grounds safety sector and the long term impact of the pandemic
- The Protect Duty
- Safety management
- Equality, diversity and inclusion
- Fan engagement
More details on the programme will be released over the next few months.
There will also be lots of opportunity for you to network with other safety professionals throughout the day.
We are offering an early bird ticket from now until 31 March:
- Sports, venues and local authorities – £110
- Private sector – £130
The Etihad Stadium is extremely easy to access from Manchester city centre. View this map of the Etihad Campus with details on how to get there.
With great transport links from Manchester city centre to the Etihad Stadium, there are many hotel options available. We will not be offering conference deals with any hotels.
