Annual Report and Accounts 2018-19 published
The Sports Grounds Safety Authority (SGSA) has today published its Annual Report and Accounts for 2018-19.
The report highlights the breadth of work carried out by the SGSA team between 1 April 2018 and 31 March 2019. It also looks ahead to the priorities for the next year.
Alan Coppin, Chair of the SGSA, said: “The last 12 months have been particularly productive for the SGSA. The team has balanced the regulatory duties of licensing football grounds and overseeing local authorities discharging their statutory obligations with an increase in advisory work for other sports, both in the UK and internationally. Importantly, the SGSA’s work has been done prudently with an expenditure level just over £1.548million, below the limit of £1.627million set by the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS).”
